I run a non profit, Patients Into People, which donates hospital gowns to cancer patients so that they have an alternative to the standard, institutional hospital gowns. It had always been the dream of one patient to visit Hawaii. When he was hospitalized in his final days the nurses offered him a choice of hospital gowns donated by Patients Into People. This gown was the one he chose and it cheered him up and his family as well to see him in this Hawaii print. The nurses shared what positive impact this gown had on both him and his family.
